Site and Server Monitor and Server Monitor are hosted performance management services that monitor and report on real-time user experience. They use robust, unobtrusive "agents," installed on Web and other servers to collect information on visitor activity. This information is then combined with network data, Web server data and back-end data to create a complete picture of customer experience on your site.
Site and Server Monitor and Server Monitor provide both real-time and trending reports to show how your Web site is performing and the effectiveness of your Web content. These reports enable you to detect, solve and even predict Web site problems, as well as enabling you to optimize performance and prioritize content by showing where performance breakdowns and bottlenecks occur.
Site and Server Monitor and Server Monitor will pinpoint the cause of performance breakdowns and bottlenecks, letting you know whether your Internet connection is the root of the problem, or if slow response times were due to the network, the application, or the server, or the user's workstation.
Availability monitoring services provide customizable alert notification specific to any component in your system. This service alerts technicians when any server involved in the delivery of your site goes down, regardless of whether it is inside or outside the firewall.
Server Monitor is our entry-level package that combines availability monitoring with hardware monitors to determine the performance of your web infrastructure. CPU load, memory, page availability and network connections are all monitored for a complete picture of your server's health.
Site and Server Monitor adds intelligent web site metrics such as page stops, page traffic, load time, and network transit time to the Server Monitor base statistics. This provides an expanded view of your user's customer experience and links hardware performance to user activity. Site and Server Monitor can tell you what hardware factors cause visitors to halt transactions and identify specific pages and scripts which may be causing bottlenecks.
As with the Basic Service, if ping fails, we will restart your server. If your Web port fails, you will be notified via e-mail and should contact Unix&NT-Mäklarna to have Apache or IIS restarted. Our Gold Service also allows you to choose up to 6 additional ports to have monitored for a flat monthly fee. If any of these ports should fail, our monitoring service will notify you immediately via e-mail. You should then contact our experienced technical staff in order to have repairs carried out according to our support policy.
This is our highest level of monitoring. If ping fails, our monitoring service will notify us and we will restart the Apache Web server. As with the Gold service, you can choose up to 6 additional ports to monitor. If any of these ports should fail, you will receive an e-mail notification immediately. Our monitoring service will also alert us to the problem and our experienced technicians will automatically fix the problem according to our support policy.
